Okay, so everyone knows that I am extremely busy, all the time. This is true, however, it is not because I have endless amounts of things to do. It is because my time is not managed as well as it could be. For instance, the things I have to do versus the things I want to do, have become this formless stew of ideas, one being no different from the other.
For instance, getting a degree - a piece of paper which makes me more employable - is what I need to do. However, getting a degree for the purpose of actually learning something I can actually apply, is something I want to do. Most people I encounter look at post-secondary education, as a way of gaining employment, as most companies will not hire anyone without the attainment of post-secondary education; but what are the assumptions behind a person having attain post-secondary education from the business owner's perspective, or human resources employer's perspective?
Are college graduates exactly the same (mentally) as a person with a high school diploma (which many college graduates are)? Are college graduates more knowledgeable, if so, about what? Or, are they only more able to maintain a schedule, better than a high school graduate?
What does having a degree say about a person? Why are a lot of college graduates broke, with no job? Is it because they actually looked at college as a way of getting a job, and not as a means of becoming more knowledgeable?
Who knows?
However, to get back on the topic of managing time. My time is wasted actually learning, I came to college to learn,to evolve my process of thought - which as a result - should make me more employable. I read as much personal literature, as I do for my Columbia University course; which is because I refuse to sacrifice learning for education (if that flew over your head, step your learning game up).
Holla Front.

I agree with most of this blog. I think we college student go into college with the asspect of wanting a better job in the future and not to become knowledgable for the future. The bigger question is can we college students do both attain ban education for a better life and also to become knowledgable?
I think the better life would come with more knowledge. Like although the argument can be made that not all people come out of college with a job, I think knowledge will carry you, for a longer period of time, making you more employable.
Time is an inevitable entity that has no definite shape or tangible form; we only know the presence of time due to changes in seasons and change from day to night and vice versa, but then again, who is the ultimate originator for the concept of time ?! Was it man or some sacreligious being ?! Who knows ?! With this uncertainty at hand, it is hard to grasp the concept of time and how to handle it with any real control. All u need to know is that time does exist, and u need to know how to complete ur task in a timely fashion. Knowing how to prioritize certain tasks effectively to get it done on time is also key to the completion of the task at hand.
